BuildCostPilot provides free construction calculators and a browser-saved project estimate workspace. The service is intended for informational planning only and does not create a professional relationship.

You may use BuildCostPilot if you can lawfully use the website and comply with these terms. BuildCostPilot grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive license to use the site for lawful personal or business planning purposes.
Acceptable use and prohibited conduct
Do not misuse the service, interfere with site operation, attempt unauthorized access, scrape or overload the site, reverse engineer protected portions of the service, submit malicious content, violate law, or use BuildCostPilot to harm others.

The BuildCostPilot name, website text, layout, source code, and related materials are owned by BuildCostPilot or its licensors. You retain responsibility for information you enter into the site.
User-entered project information
Project names, line items, costs, quantities, and estimate settings are stored locally in your browser. BuildCostPilot does not provide backup, synchronization, restoration, or recovery for browser-saved project information.
Browser storage limitations
Browser localStorage can be cleared by you, your browser, privacy tools, operating system maintenance, or device changes. You are responsible for preserving any project information you need outside the browser.
Calculator and estimate limitations
BuildCostPilot calculations and project estimates are estimates only. Actual measurements, quantities, material yields, waste, labor, equipment, overhead, taxes, delivery fees, supplier prices, building codes, permits, and job conditions can differ from site outputs.
No professional advice
BuildCostPilot does not provide engineering advice, architectural advice, contractor advice, legal advice, code-compliance guarantees, permit guarantees, supplier-price guarantees, or a guarantee that a project can or should be built. Consult qualified professionals where appropriate.
Your responsibility to verify results
You are responsible for independently verifying measurements, quantities, assumptions, product specifications, supplier requirements, labor rates, equipment costs, taxes, fees, building codes, permits, and professional requirements before relying on any result.
Third-party services
BuildCostPilot may rely on third-party providers for hosting, analytics, infrastructure, and related services. Those providers are responsible for their own services and policies.
Availability and changes
BuildCostPilot may change, restrict, suspend, or discontinue any part of the website at any time. The service is not guaranteed to be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or available at all times.
